President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, December 30, returned to the Cedar Crest Hospital, Gudu District Abuja where his son Yusuf had a motorbike accident was hospitalised.
Punch reports that the security situation around the hospital remained tense, as policemen screened those gaining entry into the medical facility.
The president and his wife, Yusuf’s mother Aisha reportedly visited the hospital on Thursday, December 28. It was learnt that the First Lady slept overnight till Friday.

The Kaduna state governor Nasir el-Rufai also arrived to check on Yusuf and spend about 20 minutes at the hospital.
A guard near the hospital said: ''The dignitaries have not stopped coming. We see luxury cars every 10 minutes, we see police escorts; I can’t mention everyone who has visited today.
''But the wife of the President slept in the hospital. She is still with the injured son,” the guard who pleaded anonymity.’’
It was learnt that Yusuf’s friend Bashir Gwandu was also at the Intensive Care Unit of the Cedar Crest Hospital, Abuja.

Governor Tanko Al-makura of Nasarawa state, cabinet ministers and hundreds of Nigerians on Friday joined the president to pray for the quick recovery of his son, Yusuf.
The prayer was led by Chief Imam of Aso Rock Mosque, Sheikh Abdulwahid Suleiman, after the two-Raka’at Friday prayer.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that the National Youth Caucus of All Progressives Congress held a special prayer for the quick recovery of Yusuf Buhari.
No fewer than 2, 000 members of the APC youth wing gathered in Abuja on Friday to perform supplications and seek divine intervention for Yusuf.
