Arsenal have reignited their interest in Riyad Mahrez and they are plotting a move for him in January according to reports reaching NAIJ.com.
The Gunners were linked to him last summer as a possible replacement for Alexis Sanchez but the Chilean ended up staying at the Emirates.

But with Sanchez stalling on a new deal with Arsenal, its looking more likely that he would be leaving the Emirates in January and Arsenal are planing to replace him with Riyad Mahrez.

The former PFA player of the season has been in blistering form for Leicester City in recent months and he is highly valued by Arsene Wenger.
The winger has bagged four goals and an assist in his last seven appearances for Puel's side - form that has taken his tally for the season to seven strikes and six assists in 22 games.

The attacker signed a new deal until 2020 two years ago with a huge pay rise to around £100,000-a-week after their Premier League triumph.
But significantly no release clause was inserted which allows the King Power hierarchy the chance to demand the highest fee possible for the in-form wide man.
