Manchester United are reportedly running the rule over Napoli midfielder Jorginho as they plan for the potential departure of Old Trafford stalwart Michael Carrick.
Mourinho is in the market for a new holding midfielder as he prepares for life without 36-year-old veteran Michael Carrick.
The Manchester United captain has not played since September 20 after undergoing a heart procedure and is expected to hang up his boots next summer.

And according to the reports reaching NAIJ.com, Napoli midfielder Jorginho is on Mourinho’s radar to replace Carrick.
The Brazil-born ace has spent his entire playing career in Italy having moved to Europe with his family as a kid.

And he’s racked up 136 appearances since joining Serie A outfit Napoli from Verona in an initial co-ownership deal in 2014.
Jorginho has scored three times and provided three assists in 18 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
