Former Super Eagles goalkeeper has announced the death of his sister Ijeoma just two days to the new year.
The goalkeeper announced her death on Instagram on Saturday, December 30.
Writing on Instagram, he said: "My baby sister is gone! Words cannot express the pain i feel. I lost you to the cold hands of death but, i know that you are in a better place. Sleep on my beloved sister till we meet again."
Ejide famously played for Hapoel Be'er Sheva Isreal from 2012 to 2015 and in 2017 joined another club in the country; Hapoel Hadera.

The 33-year-old is a 45-cap international and famously played second choice to Vincent Enyeama at the 2013 AFCON tournament which the Super Eagles won.
In the 2008, Africa Cup of Nations hosted in Ghana, Nigeria coach Berti Vogts selected Ejide as first choice goalkeeper, ahead of Vincent Enyeama, in all of Super Eagles' four matches.
