The Nigerian police has arraigned Maryam Sanda; her mother, Maimuna Aliyu; her brother, Aliyu Sanda; and a fourth defendant, Sadiya Aminu before a court.
Premium Times reports that they were charged for alleged murder on Thursday, December 14.

Mrs Sanda has been accused of killing her husband, Biliyanu Bello, the son of a former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mohammed Bello.
Mrs Sanda was arraigned with her mother who is also facing a separate charge of fraud.
While the charges were being read, Mrs Sandas covered her face with a veil.
The defendants are accused of culpable homicide and obstruction of justice.
NAIJ.com had reported that the police amended the murder charges instituted against Sanda.
The police in the amended charges filed before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Jabi, added Hajiya Maimuna Aliyu, mother of the accused and a former executive director of Aso Savings and Loans, and two others to the list of defendants.
While informing the trial judge, Justice Yusuf Halilu, of the new development on Thursday, December 7.
