Despite fielding a very strong squad, Liverpool were held to a goalless draw by visiting West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday, December 13, in the Premier League.
The Reds saw a lot of the ball in the game but failed to convert numerous chances as they again dropped points - the second in a row after a 1-1 draw against Everton in the Merseyside derby last weekend.
Firmino went close to putting Liverpool ahead in the 17th minute as Salah played him on goal but the Brazilian hits his effort narrowly wide.

West Brom also got their best chance few minutes later as Robson-Kanu's long rage shot hit the cross bar. The game ended 0-0 after the first 45 minutes.
At the start of the second half, Liverpool continued from where they stopped and almost took the lead in the 57th minute as Mane received a cutback from Firmino but placed his effort wide of the top right.
In the closing period of the game, Solanke saw his shot cleared off the line.
With the result, Liverpool drop to fifth on the Premier League table with 31 points. They are behind Man City, Man United, Chelsea and Tottenham.
