There is an ongoing attack on communities in Adamawa by men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.
The gunmen launched attacks on Lawaru and Dung communities in Demsa local government area of Adamawa state on Monday, December 4.
The attackers are reportedly burning down villages in their ways and attackers residents as they flee to safety, according to report confirmed by the Chairman, Numan Local Government Area.

Channels TV reports that the numbers of casualties is yet unknown as at the time of this report.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that the issue of ongoing killings in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states has been raised on the floor of the Senate by Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume on Wednesday, November 29.

The motion was seconded and supported by deputy Senate president, Ike Ekweremadu.
The motion, sponsored by Ndume was entitled: "The worrisome state of security in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states."
The senator also raised the issue of suic*de bombings in the northeast, especially Borno and the recent one in Mubi, Adamawa state, which claimed no less than 50 lives.
