A report claims that a clash between suspected herdsmen and residents of Bilachi, a community in Fufore Local Government Area of Adamawa state, has left one person dead.
Channels Television reported that the incident occurred late evening on Thursday, December 21 adding that some houses in the village were set ablaze.

The report further said many of the residents fled to safety.
According to the report, the victim was the younger brother of the village chief.
The report said the incident was confirmed by the police public relations officer in the state, Othman Abubakar, in Yola.
Abubakar, it was reported, said he is yet to get more updates on the attack.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that officials of Anambra state government and the Nigeria police force recently visited Coscharis Rice Farm, Anaku over invasion by Fulani herdsmen.

The visit was in other to assess the damage done by the cattle, address and find solution to the alleged invasion of the herdsmen.
