According to Google, Ghana's self acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale's hit song Taking Over was the most searched for song in Ghana for the year 2017.
Google's official search results for the year 2017 have shown that Shatta Wale had quite a successful year with regards to the songs he released over the last 12 months.
The results show three of Shatta Wale's songs making it to the top 10 list of the most searched songs in Ghana. Also three songs of top Nigerian music star Davido made it to the list.

Over the last 12 months, the controversial dancehall artist has released several songs that have ended up being major hits in the Ghanaian music industry.

Google's results show that Shatta Wale's Taking Over song, the one he refers to someone as Sergeant Lee was the most searched for songs on Google, beating Davido's hit songs If and Fall.
That's not all, Shatta Wale's track Ayoo and Forgetti also ranked well on the list, taking the 4th and 7th positions respectively.
