Days after he dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC), a former chieftain, Datti Baba-Ahmed, has been sued by Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state.
Baba-Ahmed was sued for defamation and the governor is claiming N1 billion in the suit.
Though details of the suit were sketchy at the time of this report, the governor, it was learnt, personally went to the state high court to sign the lawsuit against one Baba-Ahmed for defamation.
“Malam El-Rufai is claiming 1billion Naira as damages,” a tweet on the state governor’s official handle stated.
