It is common knowledge that people sometimes go the extra mile to mark their territory. For some, it may not matter as much while for others, it is very much a big deal.

Aisha Idi Ileke, a Twitter user took to social media to share her experience riding with her friend in his car. She narrated how the girlfriend of friend asked her out of the front seat claiming the space belonged to her.

In a Twitter thread, she narrated the story: "Okay something happened tonight and my feelings are mixed. My friend that is a lawyer came to give me some documents, so I told him to just drop me at the next junction from our street....So he said he wants to even pick his girlfriend on the way, so I was like no wahala. So I sat down infront, passenger's seat. So we got to the girlfriend's house (which was not even far from where I was going again). She came out and opened my door and told me to come down. She said "that's my space" "

"Iya ma Jemi oh! Well, I come down and trekked the remaining to my junction before they remove my wig to drag my remaining dignity So as I was trekking back home, I was putting myself in her shoes honestly, "would I feel a type of way if another girl was sitting infront in my boyfriend's car?" Then I answered myself and said NO .

When I got home to gist my mother, she said "you should have avoided this embarrassment by trekking, it will also make you lose weight nd reduce your big tummy" I'm going to bed, good night. "
