Lionel Messi has ended his seven games goal drought as he opened the scoring in Barcelona 2-2 draw against Celta Vigo on Saturday, December 2.
The goal was Messi's first in 35 days after the Argentine failed to score all through the month of November for both club and country.
However, Messi and co were denied all three points against in-form Celta Vigo on a sunny Saturday afternoon at Camp Nou.

Against the run of play, the Catalans went behind just after 20 minutes. Former Liverpool man and in-form striker Iago Aspa finished off a brilliant counter attack move he started to give Celta the lead.

Aspas chased a long ball from the defence, before unselfishly passing to Maxi Gomez, whose effort was kept out by Ter Stegen. However, Aspas was on ground to turn home the rebound.

But two minutes later, Barcelona were back on level terms. Paulinho does very well to find space on the edge of the area. But in an attempt to force a pass to Suarez, the ball drops kindly for Messi who clinically slots home.
It was Lionel Messi's 13th league goal of the season. It finished 1-1 after the first 45 minutes.
At the start of the second half, a sensational team move from Barcelona in the 62nd minute ensured Suarez put his team in the lead.
The Uruguayan finished from close range after being teed up by Jordi Alba. The goal was his sixth of the season.
But Celta were not done and they got their equalizer, this time through Maxi Gomez, but all credit must go to Aspas. The Spanish striker went on a mazy run before beating his Jordi Alba and crossing for Gomez to tap home from close range.
The game ended 2-2 as Barcelona were unable to get the job done at home. They however extend their lead to five points at the top of the table.
Ernesto Valverde's men have 36 points from 14 games, closely followed by Valencia who have 31 points but have played 13 games.
Real Madrid are third on the table but nine points behind Barcelona as they have secured 27 points from 13 games.
