Prior to the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari in Kano for a two-day official visit to the state, a resident of Kano took it upon himself to sweep and clean the streets of Kano state.
The man who is yet to be identified was seen on the streets clearing debris and and sweeping the streets. When asked by neighbours who knew him not be one of the street sweepers, he said he was because President Buhari, his 'daddy' was coming to Kano state.
The president who arrived on December 6 was welcomed by a mammoth crowd at the airport and along the major streets in the metropolis and is expected to inaugurate a number of projects executed by the Ganduje administration during the visit.
