Chelsea are now willing to pay Roma £26 million for striker Edin Dzeko after the Italian club had denied that a deal had been agreed for the Bosnian.
Sky Italia had on Wednesday, January 24, reported that Chelsea and Roma had agreed a deal for the signing of Dzeko.
But the report was rubbished the next day as Roma denied a deal had been agreed.

However, Sky Sports is now reporting that Chelsea are willing to table a £26 million bid for the 31-year-old striker.
It is believed that the former Manchester City forward wants a basic salary of £90k-a-week and a contract to run until the summer of 2021.
Chelsea have reportedly targeted several strikers in the January transfer window, including West Ham's Andy Carroll, Stoke City’s Peter Crouch and most recently Arsenal’s Oliver Giroud.

The London club continue to search for someone to share the goal scoring duties with summer signing Alvaro Morata.
