- Nigeria will face Sudan tonight in their CHAN 2018 semi final match
- The Super Eagles team B beat Angola 2-1 to reach the last 4 of this championship
- Sudan defeated Zambia in their own quarter final encounter
The Super Eagles team B will continue their campaign in the 2018 CHAN tournament when they face Sudan in their semi final match on Wednesday night, January 31.
Nigeria are now the favorite to win this championship considering of how they came from a goal down to beat Angola 2-1 in their quarter final match.
But the Super Eagles must be aware that Sudan have strong defense in this tournament, and Nigerian strikers must be up to the task if they want to reach the final.

In Sudan’s last five matches, they have scored five goals, and they are also a low scoring side that knows how to defend stoutly. In those five matches, they drew with Morocco 0-0 but against Zambia, Mauritania, and Guinea, they scored in the first half.
The Super Eagles have a good record against their Sudanese opponents as in 13 meetings since 1963, Nigeria have only lost twice against the Falcons and have won on seven occasions.
If history is to be followed on the pitch in football, then it is expected of the Super Eagles to defeat Sudan tonight in their semi final match, but 90 minutes will be the determinant factor.
There is no news of any player injured in the camp of these two countries, but there were reports that Super Eagles midfielder Rabiu Ali might start from the bench against Sudan.
