Nigeria have qualified for their ninth consecutive FIFA U-20 Women World Cup after beating visitors South Africa 6-0 in the second leg third round clash at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Saturday, January 27.
The Falconets did themselves a huge favour two weeks ago and inched closer to booking their place in France 2018 after securing a first leg 2-0 win in Polokwane.
Going into the second leg, Christopher Danjuma's ladies knew early goals will do them a lot of good and in just 39 minutes, they were 5-0 up.

Another goal in the second half secured an emphatic 6-0 win and 8-0 aggregate score line for the Super Falconets.
Nigeria were firing from all cylinders at the start of the encounter and Gift Monday set the ball rolling with her second of the competition after seven minutes as she scored from close range.

Star player Rasheedat Ajibade scored her ninth goal in the qualifier as she extended Nigeria lead to 2-0 in the 21st minute.
Anam Imo finished off a rebound after Ijamilusi's effort hit the woodwork in the 26th minute to give Nigeria a 3-0 lead.
Ajibade got her brace and her 10th goal in the competition as she tapped in from close range to make it 4-0 with only just 32 minutes on the clock.
Gift Monday got her second of the evening seven minutes later as the first half finished Nigeria 5-0 South Africa.
However, Monday was given the marching order in the 71st minute after she received a second yellow card and was sent off for a foul on a South African player.
But that would not stop Danjuma’s ladies as Imo got her brace in the 73rd minute to make the scoreline 6-0 and 8-0 on aggregate. That was how it ended after 90 minutes.

With the win, Nigeria join Ghana as Africa’s representatives in the competition billed to hold in France between August 5 - 24, 2018.
Nigeria finished second in 2010 and 2014 World Cup while came fourth in the 2012 competition.
