President of Corporate Footballers Club of Lagos, Richard Edet, has vowed that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will claim the sole ticket of CAF qualifying Group B and then qualify for the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Edet who has been a staunch fanatic of the Nigerian national team gave this assurance during the club’s cheer to children of Heart of Gold in Surulere Lagos recently.

According to him, coach Gernot Rohr is doing a yeoman’s job at the moment and all the team needs now is maximum support.
“I have so much passion for football and that is why we are giving our widows mite here,”
“People keep asking me, but I am sure Nigeria will go to Russia next year,” he boasted.
The Super Eagles currently lead Group B of the CAF qualifying series after beating Zambia in Ndola and Algeria in Uyo.
The Nigerian national team will continue their quest to reach the World Cup finals when they take-on AFCON Champions Cameroon on August 28, with the return leg four days later.
The Super Eagles who missed that last two editions of the AFCON tournament having won it in 2013 will begin the qualification series for the continental championship when they host South Africa on June 10.
