Just a minute later, Spurs were awarded a penalty when Gabriel Paulista fouled Harry Kane in the box. The Tottenham striker who already has 20 goals in the Premier League this season slotted home from the spot to extend his side's lead.

The Gunners are currently 6th on the league table with five games to go and 6 points adrift top four spot.
Spurs on the other hand are 2nd on the standings, trailing table toppers Chelsea with 4 points and four games.
Arsenal's next game will be against Manchester United at the Emirate stadium on Sunday May 7.
