Reigning Spanish and European League champions Real Madrid have agreed a world record transfer fee of £160m to land Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe this summer.
The deal will however break the record fee paid by Manchester United when they signed Frenchman Paul Pogba from Juventus.
NAIJ.com understands that Real Madrid tried to sign the 18-year-old striker last season, but his family convinced him to reject the mouthwatering deal.

He was said to have been convinced of a regular games in Spain by Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane who is an admirer of his fellow Frenchman.

Mbappe is now expected to have a regular playing times at Real Madrid following the sales of Spanish international Alvaro Morata.
