Cristiano Ronaldo was heavily linked with an exit from Real Madrid earlier this summer but the player come out to say he will spend next season in Spain.
The Portuguese was reported to want out of Real after it was confirmed he was being investigated by the tax authorities.

However the player says he wants to remain with Zinedane Zidane's side as he aims to win more trophies.
"Winning important trophies with my club last year was great, just like the individual trophies, and to do it again would be great," he told MARCA.
"You have to work hard, year after year, I will continue to do it. Football is my life, it is my passion."

The player is currently enjoying an extended breaked having taken part in the FIFA Confederations Cup where Portugal finished third.
