An army cadet from the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna, Saviour Enoch, has been gunned down by a group of suspected cultists.
It was gathered that the cadet was gunned down on Saturday, July 8, around 8:00pm along Gwegwe/Navy road at Ovom local government area in Bayelsa state.
NAIJ.com gathered that the cadet who is a resident of Ovom area was helping a victim who cried out for help when he was killed.

Enoch was on a holiday at home when he heard the victim and chased after the suspects.
According to Bodmas Kemepadei, Enoch was on the street with his friends when they heard screams and decided to help.
The deceased was unaware of members of the cultists group who were hidden nearby to stop rescue attempts. The hidden suspects shot the cadet at close range and fled the scene.

Friends of the deceased have taken to Facebook to share farewell messages. One Jpy Tugga Boss who is a close friend to the late cadet wished him a peaceful rest.
