A young man identified as Etebu Woyenga Tari Kunle from Bayelsa state has broken a record by having eight straight As in his WAEC papers.
The brilliant chap performed beyond expectations in the recently concluded West African Senior School Certificate Examination. Kunle, who graduated from Federal Government College, Odi, cleared major subjects like Mathematics and English.
According to the report received, the young man was not writing the exam for the first time as he attempted it last year but failed English. He registered again and put his heart and soul into the exam.

His aim was to make nine As and make history; however, his expectations did not fall through as he had eight As with a B in Biology. Regardless, the young man is grateful to God for the enviable achievement.
Kunle hails from Odi in Kolokuma/Opokuma local government area of the state. His result has made many rejoice as such a performance is rare in his environment.
