Just recently the first ever gay Muslim marriage took place in the United Kingdom (UK) and the couple had in attendance some family relations and close friends.
The couple 24-year-old Jahed Choudhury and 19-year-old Sean Rogan tied the knot by wearing a traditional Indian Sherwanis in a civil ceremony at Walsall registry office, UK.
Metro UK reported that their path crossed when Rogan met Choudhury crying on a bench in Darlaston. The groom said: “I’d not long overdosed and I was crying on a bench and Sean came over and asked if I was okay.”

Choudhury further added that being a Muslim made him feel like a black sheep as he feels he is trapped between being gay and his faith.

However, his families were not present at the wedding but the young man believes that the wedding will help promote the gay right all around the world. He said: “My family doesn’t want to come on the day, they just don’t want to see it because it’s too embarrassing for them.”
