Manchester United dug deep to earn all three points against in-form Tottenham Hotspurs with super substitute Antonio Martial scoring a late winner.
The Old Trafford outfit were not at their convincing best as Spurs probed and probed but United astute defending kept Spurs out.
The victory for United ensured they kept the pressure on leaders Manchester City with just two points between both sides with City yet to play.

Martial came on as a sub for Rashford in the 70th minute and lashed on to Lukaku's flick on header in the 81st minute as he cooly slotted past French team mate Hugo Lloris.

Spurs were without star striker Harry Kane as they struggled to cave open decent chances against one of the best defense line in Europe.

The loss is the second defeat for Pochettino side in three days after they lost to Westham at home in the Caraboa cup on Wednesday night, October 25.
