The Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government has been lauded by Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran, the Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, for its economic recovery efforts, especially its anti-corruption campaign.
According to reports, Aromolaran made his comments while receiving Professor Isaac Adewole, the minister of health, who paid a visit to his Ilesa palace, to felicitate with him on the occasion of his 80th birthday.

NAIJ.com gathers that the monarch stated that sanity was being restored back into the nation.
He further appealed to the government to turn back the tide of inflation by expending all recovered loot on economic revival.
On his part, the minister congratulated the monarch for achieving the octogenarian milestone and stressed that traditional rulers were closer to the people than the government; thus, their importance could not be overemphasized.
He thanked the people of Osun state for supporting the Buhari and Rauf Aregbesola administrations.
Adewole furher disclosed that on various occasions, the federal government had made significant progress in its programmes, with the assistant of traditional rulers.
He stated: “Nigeria did not make a breakthrough with polio immunization until government brought in traditional rulers.”

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that President Muhammadu Buhari reiterated that his administration was poised to break all economic barriers and set Nigeria free from poverty.
Buhari made his comments at the eighth Bola Tinubu Colloquium in Abuja, before jetting out of the country to the United States of America.
He said although some Nigerians had become disoriented and impatient, the plan was basically to diversify the economy, and use agriculture to save foreign exchange and pull many out of poverty.
