- The Nigerian army has redeployed eight senior officers
- Among those redeployed include two officers posted to the army headquarters garrison for jurisdiction
- The offences of these officers are still unknown
The Nigerian army has recalled a senior officer from the United Kingdom for court martial process.
Premium Times reports that the officer, H. Isa, a lieutenant colonel, H. Isa, was deployed from a posting at Coventry University in the UK to the army headquarters garrison for jurisdiction (court martial).
Also, L. Dabo of 145 battalion was also deployed to the army headquarters garrison for jurisdiction.

Both Isa and Dabo's offence remain unknown.
However, other senior officers including six generals - one major general and a brigadier general - and one lieutenant colonel were redeployed to serve in various offices in the army.
Among officers redeployed include major general I.O. Rabiu, formerly the military secretary at army headquarters.
Rabiu has been posted to the defence headquarters as the director technical and equipment.

Also, F. Yahaya, a brigadier general, was posted from the army headquarters, department of administration, and to serve as the acting military secretary while A.O. Abdullahi, a brigadier general, was posted from the army headquarters to the headquarters of 3 Division as the chief of staff.
Similarly, another brigadier general, O. J. Akpor, was deployed from the Nigerian army’s operation centre to the 1 Division of the army as its commander while O. C. Ajunwa, a brigadier general, was posted from the headquarters of the 3 Division and appointed to serve as deputy military secretary at the army headquarters.
G.U. Chibuisi formerly with the 1 Division Garrison was redeployed to the training and doctrine department of the army headquarters in Abuja as its deputy director.

The redeployment of the officers are to take effect from Tuesday, October 31.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that there was a major shakeup in the Nigerian army's top hierarchy.
The shakeup invloved the redeployment of seven major generals, 45 brigadier generals and 597 others officers of the Nigerian army.
The redeployment were also approved by the chief of army staff, Tukur Buratai.
