A Sickle Cell Anaemia survivor has taken to her social media handle to thank her brother for donating his bone marrow to save her life.
The beautiful lady who was identified a Samira Sanusi took to her Twitter handle on Saturday, October 28, and thanked her brother, Musty Sanusi.
It was reported that the transplant was done about 13 years ago in Vienna, Austria in 2004. Ever since her survival, Sanusi devoted her time in helping others fight Sickle Cell.

Her post reads: “13 years ago today @mustysanusu gave me his Bone Marrow/Stem Cells which cured me of Sickle Cell Anaemia.” She also celebrated her brother on Instagram.

Sanusi also posted another tweet revealing that ever since the transplant her Genotype changed from SS to AA. Her post reads: “Born with Sickle Cell, got cured in 2004 through Allogenic Bone Marrow Transplant, checked my Genotype today for the 3rd time, I'm still AA.”
