Anthony Joshua defeated challenger Carlos Takam to retain his WBA and IBF heavyweight titles on Saturday, October 28, at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
However, the British boxer needed 10 rounds to beat a brave Takam who put up a good fight.
Some good punches from Joshua early in the 10th forced the referee to step in and intervene as Takam looked like he was out.

Although, some fans believe the referee should have given Takam the chance to stay in the fight, as he deserved it, having put up such a courageous fight.
On his part, Carlos Takam looked unhappy with the stoppage as he thought he was still in the fight.

The victory means Anthony Joshua now has a 20-0 record with 20 knockouts.
