Bayern Munich are set to hire their former manager Jupp Heynckes as the club's manager until the end of the season according to reports.
The FCB sacked Carlo Ancelotti last week after losing confidence of his senior players and have now secured 72-year-old Heynckes until the end of the season, according to German media Bild .

Heynckes retired from management when he left Bayern in 2013 after winning the treble in his third spell at the club and was replaced by Pep Guardiola.

But he is now set for a shock fourth stint at the Bundesliga side after Bayern tempted him out of retirement.
This comes after the Bundesliga champions spoke to former Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel, with Hoffenheim gaffer Julian Nagelsmann also linked with the role.

Ancelotti was sacked following last week's Champions League defeat in Paris, with the club sitting third in the Bundesliga, three points off the pace.
