The Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC) has debunked the rumours making the round that its chairman, Professor Itsey Sagay has resigned his appointment.
NAIJ.com gathered that PACAC made the statement on its twitter page, adding that Sagay remains its chairman, contrary to people’s speculations.

Sagay had been at war with some members of National Assembly and some aides to President Muhammadu Buhari over their dispositions on the war against corruption.
PACAC in its twit said: “Please Note that Professor Itse Sagay SAN has not resigned as the Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption.
“Professor Sagay SAN, remains the chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption PACAC.”

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had previously reported that the chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee against Corruption, Professor Itse Sagay, once again accused Nigerian senators of getting overpaid.
