Lionel Messi scored a memorable hat-trick against Ecuador to send Argentina to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and the forward celebrated wildly in the dressing room.

The 30-year-old regarded by many as the greatest of all time took it upon himself to send his country through in what was a truly memorable showing at the Estadio Olimpico Atahualpa.

Celebrations started after the final whistle with the fans and that was carried on into the dressing room where Javier Mascherano got out his phone to capture the fun.
