Arsenal manager Arsene Wemger has come out to firmly deny Manchester United have contacted the Gunners about German play-maker Mesut Ozil.
The Germany international is out of contract at the end of the season and has yet to sign new terms at the Emirates.
But Wenger insists that Ozil will not be going anywhere and will remain an Arsenal player until at least the end of the current season.

He said: "How close? I don’t know how close, we have never been approached by Man United anyway so I don’t see why that came up.
"That is something that has been created. [He’ll stay] until the end of the season, the rest is open."

Top European teams like Barcelona have also been linked with the German but there has been reports that Ozil is favoring a move to United to reunited with former Manager Jose Mourinho.
Despite all the rumours Ozil will hope to continue his good recent form against Newcastle tomorrow in the Premier League.
