A caring Nigerian father has been spotted driving his injured son to the hospital for treatment in a wheelbarrow in Imo state.

NAIJ.com came across the touching story that shows great devotion and love from a parent to a child after it was shared on social media.

Facebook user Chizomam Onyeledo who was at the hospital when the boy came in a wheelbarrow with his father shared the story on his page.

According to Onyeledo, the little boy was involved in a terrible accident that left him injured with a broken arm.

The Facebook user also noted that the caring father explained that he brought his child into the hospital in a wheelbarrow because there was no vehicle available to take them.

He said: “The issue of transportation in Owerri is really dealing with people. Today at the hospital, everyone became speechless as a man brought his son for wound dressing and check up with wheelbarrow!!! This little boy was involved in an accident, he had fracture (broken arm) and this made it difficult for his dad to carry him.

The man explained that they've waited for hours and there was no available vehicle to bring them to the hospital. This is the height of suffering that even with your money in your pocket you'll have to trek miles under hot sun!!! Dear lord please come to our aid!!!!”
