Spanish club Barcelona have reportedly contacted reigning Premier League champions Chelsea over the signing of their star Brazilian defender David Luiz.
David Luiz has been left out of Chelsea's squad since the end of October with many reports claiming that the Blues' manager Antonio Conte no longer need him in his team.
The former Paris-Saint-Germain star is currently injured, but he has lost his place in the Blues' squad to youngster Andreas Christensen.

Clubs like Real Madrid and Arsenal are said to be interested in signing David Luiz from Chelsea next year, but according to Telefoot, Barcelona are the only side who have contacted the Stamford Bridge landlords.

Barcelona want to sign David Luiz on loan as the Catalan giants want the Brazilian to replace Argentine Javier Mascherano who will be moving to the Chinese Super League.
