Some families, depending on how wealthy spend lots of money to honour of the deceased. It is a Nigerian tradition done to celebrate an elderly person who has lived a long and fruitful life, also for those the deceased has influenced to pay their respects.

A Nigerian businessman took his celebration to the next level by spending lots of money to honour his late father. The man identified as Escoba Smith laid his father to rest in Abia state with friends and family members.

Smith who is known as one of the richest men in Nigeria spared no expense for his late father’s burial. He was spotted spraying wads of cash effortlessly at the burial ceremony in Umuahia, the capital of Abia.

It was gathered that the burial ceremony had a large turnout, including friends in the community, colleagues and family members of the deceased. The deceased was laid to rest in a blue and silver coffin.

The businessman who is the Chief Executive Officer of Muccon Resources is a resident of Abuja. He got his degrees from Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University College and the National University of Singapore.
