Reigning Premier League champions Chelsea have joined current League leaders Manchester City in the race to sign AC Milan captain Leonardo Bonucci in January.
The 30-year-old Italian football star joined AC Milan six months ago from Juventus, but he has not been impressive for the club.
According to the report by Gazzetta dello Sport, Leonardo Bonucci is now set to be on his way out of San Siro next year as AC Milan chiefs are reportedly ready to sell him.

The report also stated that Chelsea tried to sign Bonucci last season, and Antonio Conte has now told the Blues to go for him again when the January 2018 transfer window opens.

Manchester City gaffer Pep Guardiola is also said to be interested in the central defender as the Spaniard believes Bonucci can boost his defense in the second half of the season.
