Real Madrid fans have been awaiting news of the Portuguese star's injury situation after it was reported he trained away from the first team earlier this week.
On Tuesday, December 19, Los Blancos released a statement saying: "Cristiano Ronaldo and [Karim] Benzema trained using the indoor facilities, whilst Luca trained along out on the pitch as part of his recovery process."

Spanish outlet Marca, however gave the Madrid fans a huge sign of relief when they reported that Ronaldo will return to full training later today.
The news will excite Madrid fans, who know a defeat this Saturday will likely end their faint hopes of retaining the Spanish title.

Ronaldo, 32, spent Tuesday and Wednesday in the gym before doing ball work on Thursday.
Zidane now has a full-strength squad to choose from at the Bernabeu this weekend.

However, they face a tough task against a Barcelona side who are unbeaten in all competitions this season.
