The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reaffirmed its resolve to continue in its fight against corruption in Nigeria.
The commission reacting to the attack on the property of its chairman, Ibrahim Magu said the EFCC would not be deterred in its mission of ridding Nigeria of corruption.
In a tweet from the commission's official twitter handle, the EFCC said: "#TheEagle re-affirms its resolve not be deterred in its mission of ridding Nigeria of corruption despite the recent attack on a farmhouse belonging to Ibrahim Magu, the EFCC boss, in Karshi, a suburb in Abuja, which unfortunately resulted in death of a police officer on duty."

NAIJ.com on Wednesday, December 13, reported that some unknown gunmen invaded an unoccupied bungalow farmhouse belonging to the chairman of the EFCC.

The gunmen, NAIJ.com gathered killed one of the police officers at the farmhouse located at Karshi, a suburb in the Federal Capital Territory.

The attackers were said to have subdued the police officer and a civilian working on the property and tied them up before beating the duo to pulp.
The police officer was said to have died from the beating, sources close to Magu's family said.
