The minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed, on Monday, August 27, has said Nigeria is fast becoming a destination of choice for international tourists because of the favourable policies of the Buhari's administration.
Mohammed, who spoke at the in Abuja while receiving organisers and contestants of the Miss Polo International Beauty Pageant, said Nigeria's policies is one of the reason more tourist are seeking to visit.

He said: “There is no doubt that Nigeria is fast becoming a destination of choice for international tourists, thanks to the country’s hospitable people, the country’s increasingly high-rating in the international community and the successes achieved by the present administration in ensuring the security of lives and property, as well as providing such infrastructure as power, roads, and rail.
“The administration’s Visa-On-Arrival policy is also helping in making Nigeria a destination of choice for tourists and business people in general. The federal government will continue to pursue those policies that are fast turning Nigeria into a destination of choice."

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com earlier reported that the federal government recently appealed to churches and other religious organisations to use their platforms to propagate the achievements of the President Muhammadu Buhari led Administration.
The minister of information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, made the appeal at his country home, Oro, near Ilorin, Kwara, when he paid a Sallah visit to the Parish Priest of St Andrews Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Joseph Awoyale.
