- Ghanaian defender Baba Rahman has joined Schalke on loan from Chelsea
- He will be at the German club till the end of the ongoing season in Europe
Reigning Premier League champions Chelsea have confirmed that Ghanaian defender Baba Rahman has left the Blues for a loan move to German club Schalke.
The 23-year-old defender however rejoins the club where he spent half of last season, and he is expected to be in Germany till the end of the ongoing League season in Europe.
Baba Rahman suffered knee ligament damage while at the last Africa Cup of Nations and has not made a single appearance for the Blues this season.
He signed for Chelsea from another German side Augsburg in the summer of 2015 and made 23 appearances during his maiden season at Stamford Bridge.
Rahman is expected to be given active playing time at German club Schalke who currently occupy third position on the German Bundesliga standings.

Chelsea also on the other hand occupy third position on the Premier League standings with 50 points from 24 games played so far this season.
It will be hard for the Blues to retain their Premier League title this term as they are currently 15 points behind leaders Manchester City.
