Reigning Premier League champions Chelsea are reportedly considering a deal to sign Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud at the ongoing January 2018 transfer window.
Chelsea are said to be considering a move for the 31-year-old Frenchman should they fail to land Roma striker Edin Dzeko this month.
Former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea, but a deal has not been agreed.

Arsenal on the other hand are looking for the signing of Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but the club have reportedly demanded cash plus Olivier Giroud.
Meanwhile, Antonio Conte has upset the Chelsea board with his comments on transfers after the Blues crashed out of the Carabao Cup to the Gunners.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Reigning Premier League champions Chelsea are reportedly ready to move for the signing of Roma striker Edin Dzeko before the close of the January 2018 transfer window.
Chelsea coach Antonio Conte initially wanted the signing of Englishman Andy Carroll but there are reports that the club have kicked against the deal.
The Blues are now said to have made inquiry about the availability of Edin Dzeko this month, and Premium Sport claims that Roma will not allow the former Manchester City star to leave this month.
