Chelsea attacking midfielder, Charly Musonda Jr, has joined Scottish champions, Celtic on a season long loan.

The Blues confirmed his loan move via a post on their website and tweet on their official Twitter account which reads: "Charly Musonda Jr has today joined Celtic on loan until the end of the 2018/19 season..."

The 21-year-old Musonda is a product of Chelsea's Academy, and has made seven appearances for the Blues first-team squad this term, scoring on his full debut against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup.
In his most recent game, Musonda provided an excellent assist for Victor Moses’ goal in the 4-0 win at Brighton.
After that, Musonda impressed in an eye-catching display in the Checkatrade Trophy, where he netted a last-minute free-kick to beat Portsmouth, earning him a nomination for the competition’s Player of the Round.

Having signed a new contract with Chelsea until 2022, the Belgian Under-21 international will hope he makes the best of his Celtic loan so he can nuture ambition of being a regular in the Chelsea first team next term.
