Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state, while meeting with the former governor of Jigawa state, Alhaji Sule Lamido, on Wednesday, January 24, claimed that the ruling party, the All Progressives Party (APC) is biased in its fight against corruption.
Wike, who made the statement at an event in Port Harcourt where Lamido was stating his intent to run for the presidency seat in 2019, said that APC thrives on the politics of mischief wherein it engages in high level intimidation, corruption and dirty political schemes to compel defection of PDP members to her fold, The Nation reports.
