Spanish football was left in shock as Leganes edged out Real Madrid in the Spanish Copa Del Rey competition thanks to a 2-1 away victory.
Zidane men won the first leg of the clash 1-0 at Las Palmas but a surprise 1-2 away victory kept the game 2-2 on aggregate and it was enough to ensure that Leganes qualified for the semi final of the Copa Del Rey.

The surprise of the night started in the 31st minute as Javier Eraso scored a stunning goal, with perfect technique he sent a shot from 20 metres exactly into the top left corner.

Javier Eraso stunner was enough to ensure Real Madrid heads to the dressing room with a goal behind.
Real Madrid drew level in the 47th minute as Karim Benzema collected a pass and from inside the box and chipped the ball over Nereo Champagne, who was off his line.
Gabriel gets on the scoresheet in the 55th minute after converting a chance from the resulting corner kick. He found himself some space inside the box and planted a perfect header into the top of the net, making the scoreline 1-2 and 2-2 on aggregate.

The 2-2 aggregate scoreline was enough for Leganes to qualify to the Semi Final of the Copa Del Rey.
