The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted dust haze over the northern part of the central States of the county on Saturday.
NiMet’s Weather Outlook by its Central Forecast Office in Abuja on Friday also predicted day and night temperatures in the range of 18 degrees Celsius to 30 degree Celsius and 11 degrees Celsius to 34 degrees Celsius.

It also predicted moderate dust haze conditions over Lokoja, Makurdi and Ilorin during the forecast period.
The agency said that southern states would experience dust haze with day and night temperatures in the ranges of 32 degrees Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius to 21 degrees Celsius.
It stated that Northern states would experience thick dust haze over Kano, Katsina, Kaduna, Sokoto, Gusau, Maiduguri and Yelwwa with day and night temperatures in the ranges of 27 degrees Celsius to 33 degrees Celsius and 14 degrees Celsius to 18 degrees Celsius.
“The country is expected to experience varying degrees of impaired visibility resulting from dust in suspension and already raised dust in Chad republic which should affect the country in the next 24 hours,” NiMet said.
