- Alexis Sanchez has reportedly missed a doping test before joining Man Utd
- He was said to have missed the test on Monday, January 22
- The Chilean striker is not likely to face any ban
Chilean football star Alexis Sanchez has been alleged to have missed doping test before completing a mega move to Manchester United from Arsenal.
The former Barcelona man is said to have failed to inform testers of his whereabouts on the day he signed for Manchester United.
Under the law governing football, it is said that a player can face up to two-year ban if he has three whereabouts failures in 12 months, but it is not known if it is a first, second or third strike for either Sanchez or Arsenal.

There are also reports that testers from UEFA arrived on Monday, January 22 to conduct the test for Alexis Sanchez, but the player was said not to be around.
Meanwhile, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that the Gunners are to be blamed for Alexis Sanchez to have missed doping test, but the Frenchman claimed the player is not a dr*g cheat.
"On the administration side, it was ours. On the day, he had not moved so maybe it was down to us.
"Usually, we try our best to make our players available and co-ordinate well. It doesn’t happen a lot. It can be difficult to localize a player at some moments.
"There was a lot going on and it was a special day for him. Negotiations were going on and I think it was a special event to miss the dr*gs test to be somewhere else.
"There is no worry for me that he had any doping problems. I am quite relaxed. We have nothing to hide.
"We always try our best to co-operate with doping control. I have always pushed for football to do more for doping.
"The most important thing is that intention is right. Alexis’ intention was certainly not to hide. We have nothing to hide." Arsene Wenger was quoted to have said by UK Sun.
