Premier League side Liverpool have been hit with another injury blow after star striker Sadio Mane reportedly broke his thump while on international duty with Senegal.

Liverpool are still battling to cope with the news of Mohamed Salah who was said to have returned to the club with a muscle injury.

Sadio Mane was said to have being injured in a training session with Senegal that ruled him out of a return game against Sudan.

The striker was pictured leaving hospital with a cast on his hand and he is now on the verge of missing Liverpool's next game against Huddersfield.

According to UK Sun, Sadio Mane will also be assessed by Liverpool medical team at Melwood to know when he will return to action.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are currently occupying third position on the Premier League standings with 20 points after eight games played so far this season.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Liverpool superstar Sadio Mane was crowned the PFA Fans' Player of the Month of August following his superb start to the 2018-19 Premier League season.
