Manchester United gaffer, Jose Mourinho, put pen-to-paper on a new deal at Manchester United on Thursday January 25, meaning with all things being equal he is expected to be at the club until 2020.
The Portuguese manager celebrated with his backroom staff at Tapeo & Wine restaurant - owned by United playmaker Juan Mata and his dad - in Manchester city centre yesterday evening, January 27.

Though new signing Alexis Sanchez will be his new neighbor, though it remains to be determined how long Sanchez will be his neighbour at the hotel.

So why is Mourinho so attached to his suite at the Lowry hotel?
Mourinho seemingly has no plans to move out and buy in the Manchester area, and is more than happy living in his reported £816-a-night luxury Riverside Suite.

Each room has a special theme around abstract art and includes a desk and sofa area, while they are also packed with technology including TVs and WiFi.
The 90 square metre suite has everything Mourinho could ask for including walk-in wardrobes, en-suite bathroom with shower and in-room bar.
The air-conditioned suites have two entrances with a dining area that has enough space to entertain guests for dinner and meetings.

There is an option to prepare his meals himself but he can always call on the 24-hour room service and always has the choice of a full English breakfast before he sets off to the training ground.
Mourinho's decision to live in the hotel initially raised a few eyebrows, amid earlier claims the Portuguese wasn't going to stay at Manchester United beyond his current deal.
The Red Devils boss has of course rubbished this notion by extending his contract - showing the world he is very happy where he is.

And family time is no much problem for Mourinho as he spends as much time as he can travelling to London to see his wife, son and daughter around his commitments in the north of the country.
It is believed that the Portuguese does not want to invest in Manchester as he already has a base in the UK - a place he bought when he was Chelsea boss - where his family are settled.
