Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has put end to the speculations of rift between him and striker Diego Costa by wishing the attacker well in his new club Atletico Madrid.

The West London club made this known in a post on their official twitter handle @ChelseaFC which reads: “Conte thanks Diego Costa for the work he did for Chelsea and wishes him the best for the future. #CFC.”
NAIJ.com reported earlier that both clubs have reached an agreement for the services of the Spanish striker, and that Costa is currently on his way to the Spanish capital from his native country Brazil.

It will be recalled that the tension between Antonio Conte and Diego Costa started last at the end of last season when the Blues boss sent a text message to Costa that he is not in his plans for the new season.
