Manchester United manager José Mourinho has confirmed Paul Pogba will be sidlined with a long-term hamstring injury for an extended period of time.
The number of months the Frenchman will be injured has been shrouded in mystery with the Special One repeatedly saying he does not know how long the player will be out.

The 24-year-old limped off early in the club’s Champions League return against Basel earlier this month.

“He’s injured, he cannot play [against Crystal Palace] and it’s not an injury that I can have the hope like I have with Antonio Valencia or Phil Jones,” said Mourinho.
Mourinho also confirmed Marcus Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are also lon-term injury absentees.
Mourinho cannot count on his star player for a long time.
He said: “I have the hope to see them in training and to have a positive answer, so long-term injuries I don’t speak about them. So Ibra [Zlatan Ibrahimovic] and Pogba and Marcos Rojo, these players I don’t think about them.”

Meanwhile Mourinho will appear in court two days before United face Chelsea, the Portuguese’s former club, at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Novenmber 3.
The coach is facing allegations of tax fraud brought forward by Spanish authorities.
